Yup...its black sugar.
Yup...its roasted and toasted.
Yup...it causes lightning to come from the sky and scares small children.
...but this one's mine!
In full disclosure...I have a Status KingBass on order. Due sometime in April. I have never been a patient person, so when I saw pictures of the BFR Bongo on the Bass Central site...well. Like all men, I fell in love with looks first. It arrived Friday night...I drooled.
Then, like all Bongo owners, I plugged it in with trembling hands, turned the mids down a bit, cranked it to about 4...and said "hi" to the neighbors!!!

Status gonna have some big shoes to fill come April!

Congrats on one fine bass and my neighbors don't like my bongo or markbass either. In fact his wife only scowls at me.

Beauty man. I was eyeing one of them on BC half heartedly...busted furnace and busted car told me my fortunes would be otherwise. You are very blessed to be the owner of such a pretty machine!!! Im hoping a single H Roasted Bongo makes its way to my local Toronto dealer...and that Murphy's Law stops following my wallet around.
