great show and you will see a ton of vintage and rare guitars. Also see some new stuff as well. i think it is well worth the $15.

It's not a performance type of show. Its really for wheeling and dealing. If you collect old stuff or need to find a part for that old guitar, this is the show for you.

That show is really cool. I've been a few times. Never know who you'll see there either. Saw Dean DeLeo from STP there a couple years back. There will be booths with everything from vintage instruments to guitar magazines to bootlegs.

It's all stores and private collectors. Although I haven't asked him, Ken from Truetone Music usually shows up with lots of EBMM.

I went to my first guitar show last year up in Philly and had to say I had a ball ,and now keep my eyes out for any shows that are being held. First off you would think a place like NY would hold some yearly show but amazingly we do not. Just hanging around the dealer booths and the whole atmosphere was just great, with people from all over the country and some from out of state.

I will say that it was 85% vintage gear heads that were dealing which made it just about impossible to buy a guitar. There was a great stand that had 7 of Les Pauls well Les Pauls.lol There were pictures on each one with Les playing that guitar with someone like Slash or Billy Gibbons. There was a big do not touch sign but after talking to the guy for 20 minutes I asked if I could go down the line and wrap my hand around each neck and he said go ahead, and I must admit it was a real rush.

As Sterling has stated a few times 09 was not a great year for companies and I guess dealers as I may have seen 3 guitars sold the whole time I was there and I closed the place. But if you have never been to a show you will definitely love the whole experience.

I bought a beautiful l-oo gibson that I gave to Rodney Crowell....I had fun this was about 10 years ago. It is for the guitar addicted...not for the middle of the road fans.

Argggh... I can't go regardless, I am out of town for those days.

I think they had one in February too, so I think I will try to make the next one.
