Hey guys, i'm a guitar player invading the Bass side . I use to have the Albert Lee Star Licks video, and there was this bass player that i absolutely enjoyed watching his preview to his Star Licks Video, i found it on you tube and thought i would share it with you guys. Enjoy !

Hadn't seen that one in a long time. The more you listen to it, the more you here all the subtle things he is doing on top of that full out jam. Still amazing.

I think his thumb is as long as my index finger. No wonder I've always had trouble slapping.

Good? Good!?!?!??! That guy is not "good". He's a MUTHA PLUCK'N BAD @$$ son. There's a lot of fellas that can slap, but Louis is by far my favorite. He grooves so hard, very few can touch him, IMO.

He's pretty frickin' good! I remember when I first saw his vid on youtube, with his blurred thumb slapping away at super-high speed, I was convinced someone had sped that video up! Had to buy the DVD and still watch it from time to time to remind myself how good I'm not, ha-ha.
