Cool. Enjoy the show. Looks like he is boosting a JCM2000 DSL.

He doesn't use this rig any longer? He always had massive amount of rack mounted gear?

those were the Toto days my friend :D The band was bringing 4000-5000 fans in one place at one time so I guess the income generated allowed them to carry their own material.

huge logistic support :p

for his clinics right now and last shows in Asia he was renting amps and pedals and I guess he is traveling only with the guitars (look for Lukather and Povidence on youtube) or check the last song of the interview that Rob posted

nevertheless, even with a few pedals, he still got THAT sound, thanks god he can carry his magic fingers everywhere :p

According to Luke, he's done with the big rack. Bob Bradshaw is apparently making him a pedalboard with some cool stuff on it.

I think nothing beats the Petrucci rig from ToT days (size speaking strictly) seriously that thing was BIG. It looked like a deathmatch between Portnoy's equipment and JP's

Luke sure has a very complete setup. I'd be lost on any rig haha

Yeah, the Roadking/Lonestar stereo rig was huge and sounded that way too! Love his Mark V's and it's a good choice, but the Roadking has more brutal gain for songs like Panic Attack, These Walls or As I Am.

Nice rig of Lukather!
