Hi all Luke 1 owners,
Does anyone have any experience with trem stoppers?
I'm looking at ways of aiding string changes. I'm usually one to remove all the strings, in order to do a good fret polish & fingerboard clean, but keeping the floating trem block in position whilst all the strings are removed can be a real pain, and at present, that involves stuffing a bit of sponge into the trem cavity which isn't ideal. So I've been wondering if a trem stopper of some sort will aid the process. I'm happy with the bridge in normal use, so I don't need one to 'stabilize' the trem block, it's fine already. This is purely intended a string changing aid. Any thoughts?
