Recently I have bought a Luke BFR. It is the most brilliant guitar
I have ever played, what a gem.
I bought it second hand and nowhere I could find the name of the colour.
Now I have posted the serial on the forum and I was told it is a
Luke Bahama Blue Burst. That is good to know but then comes my question;
It lookes green to me and not blue....
Is that normal on a Blue burst Luke? Or am I getting colour blindness ;)
People around me say it's lookes green also, so I am a bit confused...
Hope someone can help me out :)

I'm sure you know this, but the Bahamas is a Caribbean nation and island group ... Bahama Blue Burst is more of an ocean aqua blue.

Depending on the light, it can look almost navy/black to glowing light bright blue to blue/green -- just like the ocean. IMHO, that is what makes it such a wonderful finish. Try viewing it (and photographing it ;), see post above mine) in some different light settings. Hope that helps.

biggest mistake I ever made in EBMM world was letting a BFR bahama blue GC exclusive sit overnight while I thought about it.
S T OO P I d !!!!! I called the next day to put my credit card on it. And it was scooped up by another GC and OUT the door.

IT HAD A PIEZO!!!

...and I never, ever saw one again. I loved that BB BFR

Bahama blue burst has -as the others already mentioned- a greenish hue to it.
But there's certainly no need to be confused...the only green colour that was available for the BFR models was "emerald green"...and those leave no doubt about them really being green!

If you find the time we all would love to see a pic or two of that beauty of yours ;)

He Bart,
Congrats. Nice to see the Luke has a new owner so fast.
It is a great guitar. Take a picture inside with Flash than the blue appears.
