Just bought me a MusicMan Luke
I have a few questions about this the maintenance of this instrument
I have 2 steinbergers ( GM-4S and GM-5S and those are graphite necks)

1) fretboard maint ... >> lime oil ? or is the fretboard treated with something else ?
same for the neck ( I read somewhere that it was treated with a special wax) can i use something else to clean the neck ? (prev owner liked french fries i think)
2) the previous owner adjusted the trem and bridge...
what is the correct sequence for a correct and "factory default" adjustment ?
I want to restore the instrument to its normal settings ..
3) what string sizes can I use .. heavy or light .. and what strings are on the guitar when it is shipped ?
4) There is some paint damage on the guitar (color: Luke Blue ) can I order a repair stick?

thanks

I know!
The only thing is... one of the piezo's is defective...
I gave them my serial number exact type etc etc .. cost +/- 30 CAD
after a week they contacted me trough my dealer
they didn't had a spare piezo..!!!
But If I wanted I could buy a whole new bridge!! Almost 300 CAD!!
So... for the moment... no acousticaster...
It's a pity the a company like that isn't more "service minded" or "customer oriented"
This is a huge "Non-quality issue" !!
I tried to contact costumer service at Godin for 3 months now.
The only thing I get is silence

GODIN USERS ... ONE DAY...YOU WILL BE VERRY DISAPOINTED!! I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY!!

SHAME ON YOU ROBERT !!!

I've also had a rough experience with customer service there (also had a piezo issue) and let just say that it took for ever to have it fixed (fortunately my dealer was very good about it)... The guitar does sound very good, and I'm keeping it because of the piezo (EBMM does not yet offer piezos on lefty instruments) but i don't think I would buy another one... I hope they can fix your problem

Good luck
