I’m looking at a used Luke I online. The guy has it listed as a ‘94 Luke I, but it pops in the database with a production date of June 2020. The serial is G10727, can you tell me more about this guitar? The seller states he remembers purchasing this guitar in the 1990s, but it would appear that this is, in fact, not true.

No. I see that one on Reverb now. It is clearly a second edition Luke, which we call the Luke II. There is no reason to think it is anything other than what the database suggests. And even if the database is wrong, the guitar in the picture was made between 1998 (when the luke II came out) and 2006 (when the compensated nut was made standard). The original version, the Luke I, had a floyd rose trem with locking nut, a single volume knob, and no tone knob.
