Luke I & II, neck width?

Just a quick question.

I read that when the EVH became the Axis, the neck became slightly wider to prevent the strings from slipping of the freatboard. When the Luke got it's makeover, did the same thing happen on the new Luke II neck?

i dont think so, they both feel the same to me.

My Luke 1 neck feels slightly different than my Luke 2 neck, l think thats just the fact that it's older and been played more etc.
