Have a Sabre and love it but was approached about a fantastic deal on a Luke 4…looking for pros/cons for both. Rock, blues, some 80’s. Thanks in advance for your input.

General pros/cons aside (Luke with smaller non-SS frets, active, onboard boost, different pickup config, etc.) ... I'd probably make the choice based on how the neck feels. If you can try both you'll know which you prefer.

(Personally I love the Luke necks and like a single coil in the neck position. That said, I have not tried a Sabre yet.)

I've seen Bea's model on FB marketplace for pretty good money. Maybe worth considering.

Yes. Sabre has 1 11/16" nut width and a 10" radius, Luke is a little narrower at 1 5/8" but with a flatter 12" radius. Anyone who ever switched happily between strats and LPs will not care, some others might feel different about it.

My only issue with the Sabre was the bridge saddle screws cut up my hand. Beyond that, I thought it was a terrific guitar. The Luke always seem nice but I must admit that I'm less and less interested in guitars with THAT much stuff going on. There's a simplicity to the Sabre that I really enjoyed. If it weren't for the saddle screws, I'd still have mine.
