Just a reminder...

As BP mentioned in another thread (and as my wife reminded me today), Luke is going to be on Regis tomorrow morning.

For those who are interested...:D

And what time is that ?

:)

Hmmm....I purposely didn't say because it seems to depend on the affiliate. Pete, if you're watching the NY stations, it would be on ABC at 9am. Around here, it's on NBC at 10am. Best to check the local listings on their website:

I don't know if anyone can comment on the legal restrictions, but I'm planning to set my DVR - I'd be happy to create a WMV for those who miss it as long as it's legal to post.

I would love to grab a copy of that, if you don't mind.

Cheers,

Scott.

Well gang, this is the best I could do. Unfortunately, Dish Network let me down, and there was a dropout in the feed. For those who didn't see it, you can atleast get a taste. The WMV is fairly low quality - I have the slightly better mpegs, but they're pretty big.

They played 1.5 songs - Bottom of Your Soul (Luke sang and played acoustic), and and Hold the Line - which they used to close the show. It was nice to see Luke, but I would have like to see more 'Luke' and more EBMM...

Bottom of Your Soul
Hold the Line

All I can say is Luke must be hatin' Kelly....

Thanks Mike!
That red Luke looks *really* nice.

Kelly could have made it worse...
...if she carted out Cynthia Rhodes. :D

(Whoa...I know something that IMDB doesn't know? Crazy!)

Thanks Mike,

That was kick ass, it's a shame they didn't play all of Bottom Of Your Soul, but it still gave me goose bumps. I can't wait to see them live.

Great performance Luke.

Mike, thanx man those were awesome. Luke looked beat, but I guess touring will do that to you.

You're very welcome! Luke's website said something about an extended version of Bottom of Your Soul on 'Extra' this weekend. I've got the DVR set again, so if I manage to catch it, I'll post that too...

Thanks for those clips, Mike!

Man, I remember when "Hold the Line" first came out.. I would have been 8 years old at the time! I loved the guitar part from the first listen... I'd bet my bottom dollar that Hold The Line was the first song to inspire me to play air guitar.

Hearing it again just demonstrated that it's still a kick--ass riff and a helluva good song to boot. Still stands up after all these years!

thanks for the clips

Toto's Africa was the first song I ever played live.

It was with my school Jazz band and we played 3 songs: Toto's "Africa" and Booker T and the MG's "Time is Tight/Green Onions".
