Hey Guys,

When I received my Luke from the dealer I purchased it from...there were 3 springs installed on the back for the vintage trem. I know that EBMM ships them out with 2 springs installed, so I returned it back to that configuration.

I'm curious to you're personal preferences...does 2 or 3 springs on the trem work better for you?

What guage strings are you using?

Any trouble staying in tune...even with moderate tremolo usage?

Thanks!

2 springs
9-42

Stays in tune perfectly :)

I'm just facing problem while bending 1 tone and half I'm usually out of tune  but it's just that I need to adjust my playing to the floating trem.

Anyway I decided to keep the factory setup (my trem are always non floating) and must admit this is a great fun to play this axe :D

3 springs Rectilinear not in Diagonal position
9-42
it's more easy with 3 springs for bending more one tone and for the right hand for ghost notes
the trem was just a little more harder but it's very good to play like this

Ditto on the above, I also get out of tune due to a heavy hand and light strings. My other ladies get 10-46 and 11-50 on the e flats...

I stink at the whammy thing so I load up on the springs and like the bridge to lay flat. I use the 9-42 set.

I never even put the trem bar on. Not even sure I know where they are.

Cool...thanks for the feedback. I'm going to keep the 2 spring set up I think.

I need it to float. Can't do some Beck moves properly unless that trem is floatin' just a little! :)
