Hi Everyone,

I'm contemplating acquiring a Luke HSS with Piezo, but I have a few questions.

1) Is it my imagination or do virtually none of the dealers stock Piezo models other than the Petrucci? I can't find anybody who has a Luke Piezo in stock.

2) It's unclear to me whether the Luke BFR can be ordered with the Piezo or not. The Luke BFR webpage doesn't list the piezo as being an available bridge configuration, but the downloadable specs/schematics from that page list a Piezo Luke. If it was available, I would LOVE a Bahama Blue Burst Luke with Piezo!

3) For owners of a Luke Piezo: Given that the pickups are active on the Luke, does the battery die a lot quicker than normal with both the pickups and the piezo drawing power? Any other issues that you have noticed with the Luke Piezo? Is the sound of the pickups affected by the piezo drawing power from the battery as well? (I've played only a non-piezo Luke, so I'm curious to hear from owners of these guitars. If you've played both piezo AND non-piezo, I'd REALLY like to pick your brains!).

Thanks!

Leigh.

I have Luke with piezo. Haven't played it much. Just haven't had a lot of time. Also, I couldn't comment on battery life relative to Lukes with no piezo.

Really does not effect battery life much, what does effect battery life is leaving you cable plugged into the output jack, battery dies quickly if left in:)
