Luke colour options

A question for UK folk, or anyone in EBMM that's read the October 2004 issue of What Guitar?

What colour is the Luke on page 27 and 28? It's absolutely gorgeous but matches none of the options on the site. It's transparent and a burst, but too red and too dark in teh centre to be the standard vintage burst.

I ask because I'm totally sold on it. Utterly stunning and I want one!!! (In additin to the Honey Burst Axis :D )

Here's another awkward question!!!! On the UK distributor, Strings and Things, website, under pricing, they list "Special Colours from £57.50 to £75.00".

Here's the link: http://www.stringsandthings.co.uk/mmretail.htm

Does that mean that certain colours have an additional charge, or that other colours than those listed on teh website can be ordered but are charged as extra?

What I'm unsubtley getting to is whether I could order a Luke in Honey Burst at additional charge? I'd certainly be happy to pay an additional fee if it wasn't too additional

Addendum: Managed to scan the magazine pictures in. I've had to adjust the colour values a little as the scan came out a little to pale and blue tinged. I've tried to colour match the scan as closely as possible to the magazine, but even if their colour values are off, the finish lacks the contrast that the vintage sunburst has, unless it's just an unusual finish variation, a variation I'd love to have

i just went whsmith and bought the mag.It just looks like vintage sunburst to me,to which i believe there is a £75 upcharge.

Hope this helps.

also interesting to note that the Luke deemed better than the wayne villian which i thought got a suprisingly low score.
in case anyone is interested.

wayne villian
performance 7
value 6

luke
performance 9
value 8

:D the wayne was £85 higher aswell.

I e-mailed Scott at EBMM and he reckons it's Burnt Apple or Autumn Red, neither of which are now available. And I can't have Honey Burst :(

Sniff

Ah well, Honey Burst Axis, here we come. The Luke can go on hold and I'll keep a look out for new colours in the future.
