This is killin' me but I do have 2 of these models so I am letting this one go. I still have a Ltd Ed. in green that I am keeping.

Luke Ltd. Ed. in radiance red, black headstock, w/ piezo, EMG's, like new. No fretwear, no dings, no nuthin'

Ordered by and made for country singer Jo Dee Messina who never picked it up but I did. 1 year warranty is over in October.

Call or e-mail Jon with the date of birth for this guitar and you can confirm these facts.

Hmmm... a celeb's guitar....

I think it 'plays' better now....

This stinkin' thing rocks... I have to keep it in it's case or I will change my mind...

$1400 shipped. If using PayPal I ask you pay the 2.9% OUTRAGEOUS fee they charge me (rant over)

I feel the same way about PayPal fees, and credit card fees are about the same. I get socked with 1.6% fee if I swipe a card, but if I manually enter it (sale via phone/mail) I get hit with 2.6%.

Why not just add $25 to your asking price and then you are only paying about half the fee, and the customer doesnt feel like they have to pay more to use a certain payment method?

2.9% of 1400 is only $40.60

Yes but if you get screwed, you get screwed...at least with Paypal, you're covered. So just look at it as xtra insurance.

You are only covered under certain conditions (verified address and such), and you cannot do chargebacks through your credit card.
Also their coverage is very limited, there was a class action lawsuit against PayPal recently because they claimed that the customers are protected, but unlike credit card companies they didn't give back money.

Personally I never had problems with them, but my father god screwed once.

That's why it is important to have a good working relationship with your EBMM dealer. You could always just order your guitar through your local GC. No extra shipping involved. Do your research, go there and name your price. The worst thing that will happen is they will say no. Pay them with a credit card. I don't care.

Personally I like the Mom and Pop store I use. They are in PA and I'm in AZ. Loyalty!
