You know, in all honesty when you have been using a certain string for literally decades (like Luke, Vai and others) it is NOT easy to make a change!!!!

To even imply that a change in their gear set up is forthcoming based on an improvement is pretty dog gone exciting for the Cobalts!

I, like so many others, am sooooooooooo happy with my string (#2253), for me personally, it's not easy to even want to try something new (just being honest). These strings have been such a "huge part" of my entire life, it almost feels like a betrayal (but it's not). I just keep reminding myself it's stil EBMM!! lol, lol, lol

However, I'll conclude, in my opinion this is one improvement that will justify a change!!

I can't wait to get my hands on Cobalts here in France. I recently changed to Coated Slinkys after 20+ years of 'normal' Slinkys. When I try the Cobalts, will I be making a decision that might last another 20 years? Then again, if Cobalts are as big a change as some people seem to think, maybe my string choice will depend on what gig I have coming up. Who knows! And that thought is making me re-think the Pure Nickels and the Stainless Steels! It's actually pretty exciting to no longer think of strings as a "one time and you're done" decision.

Thomann stocks them, they deliver in France too. (if you are eager to get them NOW :D)
