Here we go again with another string giveaway:

For a FREE set of strings (Regular Slinkys or Super Slinkys) shipped to your door, be the first person to answer the following trivia question correctly.

What was the first Top Ten song that Steve Lukather played guitar on with an Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar?

Here’s the kicker:
I don’t know the answer to this question. So I’m hoping that Luke will be the judge here.
Steve if you could please be the judge in determining which answer is correct. Otherwise the winner will have to sight a verifiable resource.

Fbcier politely declined the strings from the last contest. That’s why we are trying this again.

Do you mean the first top ten song he played (i.e, a concert performance would count), or by "played" do you mean "recorded"? And if "recorded", would a cover count?

(I've no clue, BTW. I just thought this should be clarified.)

Good call Eilif
Let's go with a song recorded with a LUKE model EBMM guitar that placed on Billboards top ten after it was recorded.

This contest is on and you can start guessing now. If Luke decides that someone already has the right answer or someone provides varifiable proof then the contest will close.

Shout 'em out!

I'll go with Whitney Houston "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)"

don't know if its right, but I figured for my 1000th post I'd at least try to win something :)

Was "A Little Help From My Friends" from the live Toto album a top ten hit?
