Texas Finally!
So finally got my hands on some M-Steel's at the DIGF a couple weeks ago, I am a long time Ernie Ball string user started with regular Super Slinkys, also used coated and pure nickel, but once Cobalt came out switched exclusively to those.

So was excited to try these new strings, so i finally had time to put a set on a new guitar I picked up at the DIGF, took the old strings off gave the fret board some love with EB Wonder Wipe FB Conditioner once it was ready to resting put the 42 gauge in turned the tuner and..................SNAP............ string snapped just below the tuner towards the nut, never have I had a Ernie Ball string break or snap, either during installation or after while playing....

I was kind of going WTF????????? Are M-Steels not reliable???

So I had bought four sets so I put that set aside and grab another, carefully I start again and this time no problem, had all on and tuned in in under 10 minutes, stretched, tuned again perfect.

These strings sing both unplugged and plugged in, resonant loud very great tone. Suprised by my dud but like very much and recommend highly.

I will be glad to send EB the damaged string and would not mind a replacement string so I can have a complete set for my DDI AL:D

These remind me of a cross between the pure nickel tone and Cobalt tone:)

I just put sets on both my Majesty and Strat. I am impressed by their aggressive output and ability to sustain. But the wound strings are kind of rough on the fingers at first. I like them far better than the RPS Slinkys.

I put a set on an Albert Lee, rosewood neck about 3-4 weeks ago and they sound like new still. They do feel slightly different at first but got used to them rather quickly. Very crisp and clear sounding. Now that I know I like them, I'll probably pick up a box.
