Majesty 2021 ?

I don't know how EB MM choose the next colour schemes for their guitars and whether even JP pitches in but for me I would love to see -

A return to satin paint or (even unfinished / oiled thru neck)
Unpolished ebony fingerboard
Black hardware (bridge, machines & knobs)
Subtle if any shield designation on the body ( - not keen on the older high contrast white, red blue ones)

I personally thought the Purple Nebula was stunning but didn't fancy the high gloss neck.
The cosmetics whilst unique sometimes difficult to match preferences.

But other than that don't change a thing please - it's a wonderful instrument!

I just wonder who gets to decide???

JP decides the size of frets, the radius of the fingerboard, the profile of the neck and generally the shape and feel of the guitar.

As far as aesthetics is concerned, I'm positive it's a marketing and sales department issue.

I always had the impression that nothing goes out as regular production that JP doesn't OK (with the exception of limited runs for certain dealers).

Given that JP has an excellent relationship with the Ball Family, I highly doubt that he would deny the release of a colour even if it would not be his colour of choice.

The ebony fretboard is no longer buffed/polished, this started around 2019.

EB MM just PLEASE make a Majesty with satin (not gloss) finish on the back of the neck for 2021.

Yes, that is a matte finish! Stealth Black has been discontinued but there may still be some dealers with inventory - if you contact Music Man customer service they can advise you which stores might have one left.

Not wishing to sound ungrateful but....
I have a (nice) Stealth JP6 and (within my vision right now) a Schecter Evil twin in Stealth, a Wolfgang in Stealth and an ESP Viper in Stealth black too! Oh and the Majesty in Polar Noir....

So a change would be nice ! (not really much to complain about there tho....)

Ideally something with some grain - Purple Nebula, Ember Glow BUT with a satin finish neck.
Gremlin Sparkle nice too but glossy neck again.
Dargie just a bit too gold for my taste but its the right finish.

Difficult to please?
