Help! Majesty and humidity levels: is a humidifier necessary?

Hello everyone

I have 2 EBMM Majesty 2020 that I bought at the end of the summer. Now that winter is here I'm thinking about the dry air and how that can affect the guitars, I would like to avoid that the fingerboards dry out or to get fret sprout (+ other humidity related problems) since the guitars hang on the wall.

Would you recommend buying a humidifier to set the RH to 45-55 % or am I just overprotective and the guitars will be fine?

Yes. I’m keeping my guitar room at 40% right now.

I can only recommend that, too. I have my humidifier set to 50%. The guitars in the room have extremly stable tuning now and also the fretboard look really healthy.
