If you are an active forum user probably you've seen a couple of posts of mine going crazy over sympathetic resonance on one of my Majesties. After many months dealing with I think I've found the culprit!

The volume knob is slightly loose, it can be seen here: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

How can I tighten it?

You have to very carefully remove the rubber ring from the volume pot. I would advise calling the local dealer or distributor and getting a couple of replacements as they can easily rip when removing. Try a toothpick to get behind the rubber ring and start to slide it up over the top of the pot. Once you have it removed, there is a small allen screw in the side of the knob. Tighten it up and double check you can still activate the boost and shut it off. If so, then put the rubber ring back on and you are set to go.

Is it the knob that's loose, or the pot?

Hi!

I'm sorry I don't know what the difference is.. If you watch the video you can see something clicks when I touch "the volume thing". What do you think it is?

I think the pots on the majesty are connected directly to the electronics module, and don't have a nut on the top to tighten them. You'll find out when you remove knob.

Hi!

The knob is the thing you grip. It's attached to the shaft of the pot. The pot is the electronic component that connects to the guitar's circuit and adjusts the volume and tone.

A very common issue that people ignore is loose pots and loose output jacks. They have a nut and washer (some manufacturers also have a nut and washer inside the control cavity) to attach the pot to the face of the guitar or the pickguard. When that nut works its way loose, the washer can rattle, and the pot can sometimes spin in place, eventually causing solder joints to fail.

Remove the knob, then use a wrench (or a socket) to tighten the nut down.

I think the pots on the majesty are connected directly to the electronics module, and don't have a nut on the top to tighten them. You'll find out when you remove knob.

Do the pots and switches on the Majesty have internal mounts that support them? I haven't seen the electronics on a Majesty, so I don't know how exactly they do it. I can't imagine they're only attached by their solder connections to the PCB.
