Hello, all! First post here.

I own a Majesty and a guitar is pretty new, but from day one the tremolo bar is not sitting right into the hole.

This is a private video showing the problem:

I've tried tightening the hex at the back of tremolo, but it didn't help. It doesn't sit right.
Behaves like this no matter the tension set by the hex key (torx, or how's it called) on the tremolo. It's pushed all the way down on the bridge now, but the same happens while it's not.
This does not happen on my old Sterling JP100.

One more note to add. When I try rotating the bar so that the tip points to the place where the piezo pot is, the bar feels tighter. So when you rotate it clockwise, you could feel there is more/less tension depending where the bar currently is.

Is the screw behind the springs on the back side responsible for that, maybe?
Could it be the hole in the bridge or the bar itself are not done correctly?

Any thoughts? It's so annoying to use a tremolo like this! :/

With regards :)

Yea, it sounds like there's something wonky inside the trem arm hole. Sorry to hear this. I'm sure CS can help you through the problem. Might need to send it back. My AL makes a similar sound, but that's because the pickguard was cut a little too big and the trem rubs on it. But this sounds completely different, especially since you notice a difference in feel around the rotation.

Were I in your shoes, I would carefully loosen the trem arm screw and then put the trem arm in and wiggle it around, just in case there were any part of the inside bit that may be loose. It should look like this:

Could be that the bar retainer is not sitting right on the trem block. You may need to remove the trem to get to the set screw. Call customer service and they can assist. They may be at the namm show so you may have a slow response now.

Yeah, I'm waiting two weeks for the answer, already. Sorry to hear there's probably no easy solution, especially after this guitar also got to me with bad electronics. Makes me want to send them a guitar back and get my money back. Such a badly made instrument.

Most of the team is at the NAMM show, but sit tight and they will take care of you.

That said, if you really feel that it's poorly made, you absolutely should return it.

beej, I will wait. :)

Also on 'poorly made'. I really feel everything except the wood (which is lifetime warranty) didn't really pass rigorous tests. I had bad eletronics, making guitar unusable. The stuff about stereo/mono in one went completely nuts. Took me 3 months to get the replacement parts. This tremolo bar really feels crap when using. I don't expect that from such an expensive instrument. I expect it to be perfect, literally. I love it, although.. :)
But I just want it to be okay, finally. Maybe in a year I'll have an instrument I've paid for. :)
