Has any one tried the Luke tips to make the Silo trem floating? I'm not talking about pulling up a fourth, just maybe a whole step. Might try it this weekend and see what I come up with.

not yet, but I plan on doing this sometime this week to my Silo Spl. Shouldn't be too big of a problem. Last weeks project was to replace the PAF/Pro with a PRS HFS ( more heat ) and rewire the electronics so that the middle position is just the middle pickup ( with silent circuit engaged ) instead of the bridge coil + neck. It was entertaining deciphering the uber 5 way switch wiring. 
Note to EBMM: Real schematics instead of block diagrams on the website would be useful.
The Silo Special is quickly taking it's place as one of my top 2 guitars, I love it.
