Need some product advice - what is the best cleaner for a maple neck/fretboard? Already seeing plenty of dirt on the fretboard from new strings.

Thanks

edhalen if youre asking about cleaning the Silo30 maple neck, you can use some napthan on a shop towel. This will remove some of the black/grey grime finger grease that builds up on the fretboard. That neck is sealed with a thin satin finish. It is not the oil/wax treated like USA EBMM's.

Well the only thing I can add to the information already given is to always try and wash your hands before you play, and to always remember to wipe down your ax good with a soft cloth when you finish. This will slow down the dirty neck process of an unfinished neck, but if you play hard it is inevitable it will stain. But as Pat has stated and I did not know the Sterlings have a thin finish so proper care should keep it looking good for years.

Oh yeah I forgot - Spud's top tip!!

I was looking through the office stationary cupboard and there were packs of "Safewipes"
Buy AF Safewipes (100 Pack)*SWI100 from CCL - Online Retailer of the Year 2008, 2007 & 2006 for laptops, desktops and computer hardware

They were no longer being used as since we changed from CRT Monitors to flatscreen monitors we use another brand of screen cleaner. I checked it was ok to have them.

These are just perfect for wiping down fretboards/strings as they leave no "fluff".
