Markbass head removable?

Took a good break from playing bass, now im looking for a small bedroom amp and I would like to use the head with my ampeg 8x10 too.. Is the markbass amp its self removable from the 12" combo?

I really like the markbass stuff but I would really like to remove the head if I want, I might have to go with the mesa boogie...

I remember seeing somewhere on the web that you CAN remove the amp from the combo. I don't think it's too difficult.

Yea, I might go with that one, however I would prefer markbass, can anyone tell me if the heads are covered?

I believe one of thier newest models makes it so you can build/swap out your pre-amp, eq and power amp. A friend of mine was telling me about them after he visited the Musikmesse in Frankfurt this past weekend.

I believe this is what they were talking about on thier site when they mentioned this blurb...

If you remove the head from the combo, you could damage either the head or the cabinet, you would not have a top on the head, and you would void the warranty. It's not designed for this purpose and we do not recommend it.
You could always disconnect the internal speaker in the combo if you wanted to run it through the 8x10.

And with that, I will either have to

1 get 1head and one combo
2 get 1 head and one 12" cab
3get a mesa..
