Well since we're spreading things around I might as well get into the picture. Mattias Eklundh is a guitarist from Sweden, and his style is innovative and unmistakebly ground breaking. He is truly one in a million. I've listened to a fairly wide variety of guitarists, and while each is as impressive as the next, no one has struck me with such an inspirational chord as Mattias has. His signiture style grabs you by the nuts and shakes you...and he is quite humble, a trait that most guitarists do not have. While playing with his band, Freak Kitchen, Mattias never out plays the band, in fact he leaves you starving for more solos. Granted, he also does his own projects, in Freak Guitar. If you want to put a huge smile on your face, and recapture that tingling feeling, give this dude a listening to!
