I switched out the strap pins on my new Sterling for straplocks and while I was doing it, I noticed that the little plastic ring that goes between the the pin and the body of the bass was missing. I have one on the bridge end of the bass, but on the upper horn, it was missing. Is there any way to find one of these or is there something else I can use?

There is a pretty similar part that drummers use on their head bolts. They are a little smaller, but work fine. And drummers usually have extras lying about.

I tried looking for a replacement at Home Depot before but they didn't have any. They did, however, have small felt washers, which work like a charm.

It's just a washer designed to protect your paint from the strap pin. Home Depot or Lowe's is your friend.

Yeah I know that. I knew they had metal washers, I've never seen these kind of plastic washers at the hardware store.

I the middle of the hardware aisle at Home Depot is a grey metal set of thin drawers. One of the drawers has the plastic washers. If you can't find it, ask for help.
