MM Pickguards? $$$$$

I want to buy a different pickguard for my SUB 4. What's up with the prices of MM pickguards? Fender pickguards are made out of more material and are 3 ply but 1/2 the price!

Thanks-I'll check out those sources. Even on ebay though, normally the pickguards are over $25 after shipping!
