Question MM sub 5 neck swap to ray

Hello good people,
Im trying to find out if i could fit a 1992 stingray 5 neck on my sub 5.
Both have identical 6 bolt neckplate.
Scale, neck radius and neck width is the same.
BUT the Sub only has 21 frets, while the ray has 22, so by that im guessing it wont work. But who knows maybe someone knows different.

It won't work. Having a different number of frets, it would throw the scale off and therefore the intonation would be off as well.

Im guessing the status graphite necks wont work as well. Oh well, i better just start saving for a ray.
