I'm getting another SSS pickguard for my HSS silo spec. I'd like the keep the interchangability of the pickguards as is. How and what do I buy for the molex connectors? I looked at their site, and there's so many models, but none of them look like whats in my guitar.

Anyone know?

I asked Beej about this awhile ago and here's what he passed on to me

"I ordered a bunch online from Mouser last time I needed them. Though I wonder if you could get 'em from EBMM.

The part #s are:

Receptacle- 538-03-06-1032
Female contacts- 538-02-06-1103 or 538-02-06-1132
Plug- 538-03-06-2032
Male contacts- 538-02-06-2103 or 538-02-06-2132"

Thanks guys... So just to make sure, for pickguard only, I need the plug and the connectors as indicated on the site. What about the male and female contacts? (no jokes please Dizz...) Heh.

The plug is the male end. The female is what's wired to the guitar. There are two types of (male) associated connectors that go with it. Can't remember the difference, probably just for different wire gauges. They're extremely inexpensive, order more than you need (so when you mess up you've got spares).

I ordered a bunch of these. Every time I wire something up in a guitar that doesn't have them, I usually put them in.
