Hello,
Since I managed to break the original switch, and that it would take over a month to order a replacement switch, I went for a DiMarzio EP1112 which seems like a good alternative.
I made sure that I soldered everything exactly like this wiring diagram:
http://www.dimarzio.com/media/diagrams/E.pdf
Here is how it looks like:

http://miki.nada.kth.se/~sebron29/asswiring/2.jpg
http://miki.nada.kth.se/~sebron29/asswiring/3.jpg
I went through everything quite a few times, and everything looks exactly like in the wiring diagram.
This is the result:
Position 1 (bridgemost): Both coils of bridge pickup.
Position 2: Inner coil of bridge pickup, outer coil of neck pickup.
Position 3: Both coils of both pickups.
Position 4: Outer coil of bridge pickup, inner coil of neck pickup.
Position 5 (neckmost): Inner coil of neck pickup only.
Correct would be:
Position 1 (bridgemost): Both coils of bridge pickup.
Position 2: Outer coil of bridge pickup, outer coil of neck pickup.
Position 3: Both coils of both pickups.
Position 4: Inner coil of bridge pickup, inner coil of neck pickup.
Position 5 (neckmost): Both coils of neck pickup.
The pickups are DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF's. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong, given the result I get? It seems like the bridge pickup has gotten reversed in some way, and that the outer coil in the neck pickup seems to be "dead" in neck-only position.
Any information, ideas or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Perhaps this helps aswell:

I also found this wiring diagram, can someone explain the difference between this one and the one I have used?

Thanks a lot in advance!
Best regards,
Sebastian
