More Finish Options on JP's?

As I've been actively seeking a second/back-up JP7, I'd also considered just ordering one (other than the turnaround being a bit more than the amount of time I have before I'll really need it).

I started looking at the color charts again and noticed how many of the best colors were discontinued completely, not even an option!

Will there ever be any more cool colors available for the JP's? Like Blue Dawn, Autum Redrise, Silver Sparkle or any burst finish really...

I for one would certainly be willing to pay extra!

this has been talked about alot and they will not do custom or discontinued colors it is too expensive for them to do and slows down production so you just have to find one of the available colors that you like or get a used one in the color you like

Yeah, that's what I was told when I called them as well.

I mean, it's not that I don't understand why, but it still kinda sucks.

Hell, with all the colors available now, it hard enough to decide. I haven't by any means abandoned the prospect of a futer Egyptian Smoke or Candy Red. Well, that is unless a Blue Dawn or Autumn Redrise opens up first. Pete, are you listening?

i know that the custom shop is something that alot of people would like but the way these guitars play makes up for it ten times over. they really are custom shop quality and they have alot of color choices just not exactly what you want. but for me i would rather play a plain white ebmm then a premium top curly flamed custom anything else. but thats just my opinion.

No, but I do "happen" to have a new Egyptian Smoke here that's begging for a good home
