I'm sorry to keep bombarding you with personal tragedies and stuff...but I'm so torn apart by this.

My Uncle (or an extremely close family friend) has lung cancer. He has just been announced as 'critical' and is on oxygen 24 hours a day. Not only has he had kemotherapy but also the experimental radiotherapy which has made his life a living hell. A few weeks ago he was diagnosed with pneumonia (spelling?) and they say it doesn't look good.

I love him so much, and he is the nicest, funniest, most awesome man you could possibly meet, with an extremely strong Bolton accent. He visits every summer, but isn't coming down this year, his condition is too bad. We have such a good time - I can't stress enough how much he means to me.

Please keep him in your thoughts, here's Phil.
