Problem with Stingray Neck
I've had my stingray for a few years now and after realizing that the neck was messed up I sent it to ernieball and they replaced the neck (as well as a pickup after noticing that it was messed up as well). So lately I've been doing my own setup and its really cool, I really enjoy it. Those who play an instrument should know their instrument inside out and be able to maintain it. ANYWAYS, I noticed that my neck has more relief on the bass side compared to the treble side. After further inspection, I look at my bass from the bottom of the bridge to the headstock where I noticed that on the bass side of the neck, more wood is coming up as oposed to the treble side. I emailed customer support and Im going to send my bass in. This is the second time I've had to send in my bass but its not so bad since I live in town. Im curious as to what they will do this time.
