Well I'm happy with #23 now ... otherwise I'd have been all over it like a fat kid on a smartie.

There's something special about those old 6 bolters, they sound fantastic.

Great find - could surely make many of us SMOC members happy.

(although I'd never think of swapping my morse for ANY guitar, even if Steve would kindly offer me the Nr.1 :))

Steve Morse #27 for sale

I thought I'd drop by and comment. Some people have questioned my sanity for selling this guitar. There was a time when I would have sold my pets for science experiments rather than sell my trusty #27 (owned since 1987). but the times are a changin'. I'm trying to start up a business right now and I need the capital. Tough choice, yes...but it will keep me from selling a kidney or other body part.

I really have no idea of what it will sell for -- I listed it with a reserve of $1250. Obviously (for me), more would better. I am willing to discuss payment options for EB forum members (only) , since I really want someone who is going to give it a good home and not just re-sell it. From looking at some of your posts on this site, many of you have SERIOUS attachments with your EBMM guitars (for good reason). I will do what I can to give you a leg up in the purchase...including working out several payments over time and within reason -- like full payment within 90 days.

Please feel free to respond to this post if you have any questions...but please don't ask for my body parts. Thanks, Erik
