Morse Blueburst question

Is the Morse Blueburst getting darker these days? I saw one last week, and it was really dark. I couldn't believe how dark it was. Short of the Y2Ds, that is the most beautiful Morse I've ever seen.

It couldn't have been Pacific Blue Burst could it? Not according to this list anyway...http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/color_chart/available.html

my bandmate's Morse was quite dark...awesome finish. I think the earlier models were brighter

IIRC, the one I saw/tried was darker than yours.

The earlier Bluebursts were definitely lighter (or appear to be now).

EDIT: I'm going to try to see a Mike Keneally/Brian Beller clinic there. If the guitar is still there, I'll try to get a pic.

I think the same. The newer are darker.
And another difficulty is, that it is very hard to take a picture, where it looks like in natura. On nearly every pic I took, it looked brighter than in reality. Damn...
