I knew someone was going to knock Gilbert for his vocals, but as stated they were having fun and their was no true vocalist on stage and even if there was that song would be hard to pull off for most not named Ann Wilson. Kudos to Paul for having fun and going for it! That seemed like a blast and I would of loved to of been there! I would seriously recommend anyone who never went to a G-3 type show to go, as it is an experience you will never forget- though you may not want to pick up a guitar for awhile lol.I saw the show with Yngwie on the bill and Petrucci came out during Satriani's set (he had just cut off his hair lol) to do Summer Song with him. At the end jam JP and Neil Schon both came up on stage and plugged in and it still remains the most jaw dropping guitar experience of my life.It is simply mind boggling and down right scary how great these guys are and the live experience amps it 10 fold.

You got me interested - went looking and found this poor quality link by an attendee:

Looks like JoBo is playing a Purple Sunset Y2D - and was weird to see Dave LaRue backing him.

Nice to cough, cough, have the right pull and connections cough lol.

On a side note I went to look up a clip of Bonamassa on YouTube and counted 6 full albums posted on the right hand small boxes. I honestly don't get how this is allowed! Being able to post a live clip from a show is cool but if I were an artist I would be looking to sue Youtube and Google who owns it. For all the young guys who find it great it is no different then walking in a music store and putting CD's in your jacket and walking out. I also get it when some great artist say they have no interest in going in the studio to make a new album as it will only be on the internet before the release date and it is a losing proposition since it cost a lot of scratch to make an album. I remember when Howard Stern had his TV show years ago and he had Patty Smyth from Scandal on, who just had a #1 hit with Don Henley with "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough". She brought up that it was funny that she just received her first royalty check that day and Stern kept breaking her chops wanting to know how much the check was and she wouldn't say. Finally after torturing her the whole show she told him=$500,000! If something isn't done you will have the starving artist stories before they made it= who are still starving.
