Mine is my good ol Boss DD 3

I just realized I have had it for almost 14 years and it is so reliable and sweetens/fattens the sound so much my tone drips honey.

I just realized how much I appreciate it at a gig I had tonight It has never let me down after all these years.

If I was only alowed one pedal, that would be it.

What's your fav pedal flavour?

My little orange BOSS DS1. I've had it 15 years. It's lost a knob and is covered in scratches. But still works fine. Got a RV3 as well which id almost be lost without. And my gf got a me a VOX WAH for chrimbo. I got rid of one years ago in part ex for a 7 string guitar. Missed it ever since so she got me a new one :D

I've used my Dunlop CryBaby and my Ernie Ball volume pedal the longest... Other pedals have come and gone, but these two are here to stay! (Well the CryBaby might be replaced when EB starts to make Wah-pedals, who knows...) :)

I have on old Real Tube pedal with a 12AX7 valve in it. Just perfect. Tho other is a Guyatone wah rocker. Like an envalope filter and great for the Stevie Salas moments! Oh and a chanel changer!

Good thread.

Well, I had pedals years ago and then went in another direction (and sold off all my pedals). Now, in the last few years I've started using individual pedals again.

I'd say my indispensable ones are my Boss DD-6 and my Ernie Ball VP Jr.

I sold all my stomp boxes except the ProCo Rat. and the ME-30. That's my travilin headphone amp.

Tough to say what's the most valuable. I have a couple before the amp (phaser, TS9, wah, compressor - I barely use these) and some in the loop (chorus, delay, verb - I use a lot). My amp has a parallel FX loop, so after watching Tommy I bought a EB VP Jr pedal so I can mix in the wet FX signal (the Steve Morse approach). Really killer to be able to fade in the effects like that, or just route that signal to a wet amp!

So I guess I'd have to say the EB VP Jr would be my most used. That or the Strobostomp which is indispensable.

Menatone Red Snapper. I've gone through about 30 OD units, nothing has come close for my taste.

with the smaller board I've been using lately, my boss RV-3 reverb and Aphex guitar exciter are always on... so I dont' know that they count.

after those two it's probbly my keeley modded rat 2. it pretty much does anything I want it to and it's the only thing that ALWAYS gets moved from pedalboard to pedalboard when I'm swapping around.

Red Hot Chili Tubester. I've been through a ton of pedals, but that one just never seems to come off the board. Nails the 70's Billy Gibbons sound.:)

Fulltone Full-Drive 2 - I know they're no longer "fashionable", but I've owned three of these, the first being the original "silver box" model that I got direct from Mike back around 1994 or so (#107, as I recall) - I've "upgraded" a couple of times and use a Ltd. Ed. Yellow one now, but I've always had at least ONE of these things on my pedal board since I first discovered them, and I always will.... I love this pedal and know it like the back of my hand!

evh phase
boss chorus
boss delay
Keely comp
Keely boss blues
mt-2 dist

looking to buy Vox Tone Lab SE

Playing thru 5150 combo

I think I might go back to my 60 watt Randall- cleaner sound
maybe a better pallet for the pedals

Obviously Brien, you don't have a fav.

I purchased a Tech21 comptortion in 1999. For some reason, I can never let that one go. It works with all amps. sometimes a little comp, sometimes a little boost, sometimes a little dist., sometimes all 3. I can play without it, but I prefer not to.
