So I decided to make the move today to the Power Slinky's (11-48's) and I can't believe it's taken me this long to make the move... I absolutly love 'em... has anyone else made the move to 11's?

I was using 10's but there's something about the 11's that just sound so much better...

Reminds me of a blues band I caught at a Reno club. Got to talking to the guitar player on their break, and he kept going on about how his Strat was strung with 13’s. I paid more attention to his playing after the break. His tone was really good, but everything sounded way too rigid. Don’t think there was a single bend in his solos. Don’t know if they tuned to Eb or not.

I've decided not to talk about which strings I use anymore. :p :D

I've always been a Slinky guy when it comes to my strings... and I started out with 9's on everything... and i was encouraged to go up to 10's and yesterday on a Whim... i went and bought 11's and i'm hooked...

I don't think i could ever go to 12's or 13's... not that I'm a serious bender but i do like to work the strings a bit...

10-46 for all mine except the Axis which likes the EB skinny top, heavy bottom 10-52.from my own experience 10's are by far the best compromise of tone, playability and keeping everything in tune and rock solid on the guitar.Mind,If I had a guitar with a Gibbo scale length I'd be tempted to maybe try 11's.

My "Tele" has a Gibbie scale length and I have used 11's on it and liked it but it's hard work.
I have 10's on there now.

I used to play really heavy strings, anywhere from .011-52 to .013-.060 (the latter tuned to Eb). I'm not counting the flatwounds on my ES125, I don't bend those so gauge is irrelevant really.

After a bout with tendonitis I went down to standard .011's. After my SECOND bout with tendonitis (which was MUCH worse, six months no playing) I went to .009's.

It was a rough adjustment for me, but worth it I think. It really made me clean up my technique. I mean, I knew I could beat the crap out of a guitar, the huge strings I played were an example of that, but on light strings I just had zero finesse. Well moving to .009's forced me to really develop better technique.

I've since moved back to standard .010's (.010-.056 on my 7 strings JP's) and have been very happy.

For me, it's the perfect middle ground. :)
