Hey all,
I'm a college student who goes to school in Philadelphia but my family resides outside Chicago. My amplifier cabinet will come back from Philly in my car when I drive it back to chicago. However, the car will not be returning to Philly, as my little sister is due to get her license and would like to have the car. What is the best way to get the cab back to Philly from Chicago? Should I check it as luggage? Should I ship it via UPS, etc? It weighs < 40 lbs, so I don't think it would be prohibitively expensive to ship it or check it. My main concern is damage.
While this question doesn't exactly fall under the purview of MM basses, I assure you my Bongo would be super duper sad without it.
