Mr Horsepower hits the road

Hey people

I am just about to leave for the annual get together of uk.music.guitar.

Every year we go away for a weekend, drink far too much beer, eat curry and show off our shiny toys.

On the Saturday night we have a Pop Idol style jam event where you just get up and play with other guys with zero rehearsal.

I'm down for the following tunes

Emerald - Thin Lizzy
Rock and Roll - Zep

....and I have decided that the Zep tune should be graced with the best looking guitar on the planet so Mr Horsepower step right up!

Fond memories of all of us sitting in a hotel room the night before the Open House calling out all these rock tunes and dave playing every one of them.

Sounds like it'll be fun. wouldn't be surprised if more than a few peeps might want their picture taken with Mr. H.

Well I did it and actually gigged the most expensive guitar I have ever bought.

Everything went really well - a few nerves seeing as I was playing to a room full of guitar players!

For those who want to meet MrH in the flesh we ought to organise a UK EBMM meet-up sometime.

..and to Keith - thanks very much you are too kind about my playing - I know parts of lots of songs.
