Mrs. Morse Finger Nail polish Colour Question for Tommy

Question For Tommy or anyone who knows. I was wondering if Tommy could maybe ask Mrs. Or even Mr. Morse what Colour of Finger Nail Polish Mrs. Morse used to patch up the dings in the Morse #1 Blue Burst.
Brand Name and Colour please. I'm buying a used Morse Blue Burst and want to cover the bare wood dings. It would keep it kind of historically correct. Thank you. Pics when it arrives.

I would take the guitar into a paint store and have them match it and make a small amount for you - add a bit of clear coat (can get these in a 'marker' form - try an auto paint store or dealership accessories department) and you'll be doing your Morse a good service.

Yea BP did not sound too happy about that either during the sit down hehe. Just leave the scars! Natural way of relicing the guitar is perfectly fine!

What was the Morse #1 finished with originally? Poly ? Thank you for the Pic ! Really though if we could find the brand name and the Colour, I thought for sure Mrs. Morse used Finger Nail polish.

conversion varnish i believe. a lot of the top coat is worn away.......resulting in the brighter blue areas.
if ya wanna copy steve's model......play the living hell out of it to achieve the desired result....

Several years back I put a few good gouges in my trusty old Morse. Bad enough that I wanted to cover them up.

Sephora #55 - Turquoise Blue. Kind of goes with the different colours on the Morse. Not bad at all, considering.
