Cracks me up that some people are too lazy to walk back to their amp & hit the mute switch.

Those stadium concerts have huge stages. It's a long walk back to the amp.

Seriously, remember, not all amps have mute switches. Even so, all they have to do is turn the master volume down to zero. Either way, I agree with you, it's not rocket science.

I have three basses on stage at any time. Fretted and Fretless SR5's and an eletric upright. A/B box on the sr5's and another input to my pedal board for electric. I use sennheiser wireless w/ one receiver and two transmitters. The receiver is on my pedal board and it goes from there. I'm not a big pedal freak, but I have the strobstomp, eb volume pedal, chorus, DL4 delay (i use it only for creating a loop so i can solo over it on one song), an eq (for the upright level adjustment) and a sansamp21 bass driver that i never use and i hate. I just leave it on my pedal board cuz its easy to keep up with.

At risk of sounding boring. I've got two british made Burman valve amps each with two input channels.

Alternatively there are times I take 3 basses - Pentabuzz, Stingray/Modulus/jazz and a Smith 5/6, so I have a rack mounted mixer for the Eden. Its great for helping adjust gain levels between the basses too.
