I don't see it on the MM site, but I'd guess you can still get it from MM directly. Email the CS guys- link is in my signature.

Hey Beej -- on Mobile signatures are disabled by default (not sure if it is an option to enable). Your signature does show up on desktop.

Do you know how to wire this up once you get it? If so please share, this series/parallel option would make my EBMM AXSS and AL absolutely perfect !!

I can shoot you a wiring diagram. It's not straight-forward- you'd have to re-wire all the connections to the lever switch and add in a 4PDT on/on toggle.

It's an interesting switching scheme- it puts the pickups in either series or parallel mode, then the lever switch selects which coils are connected. So where you would easily go from positions 1 to 2 on the AL HH (or Super Sport, etc.), you'd have to move the lever switch and flick the series/parallel switch on the Reflex.

If you like the current wiring of the AL/Sspt, an easier option is to wire up a split coil in positions 1 and 5 with a push/pull.

Beej, Yes that would be most appreciated !!! , when my Reflex was my go to guitar, I always had it in Series mode, and loved what I got out of it, I want that same thing for my AL, Thank You

They do not sell the actual switch anymore, so not sure how to do get this done myself, I have an good Luthier here but he could not get it to do it either.

As mentioned in another post, I may just buy a used Reflex, and do the internal swap myself. It's that just you get some, to me, amazing sounds out of the Reflex or 25th anniversary that you just cannot get anywhere else. see avatar, it will some day be a Frankin-Al... I hope

Yeah, that's a pain ...

The original switch was a 4PDT on/on, attached to a PCB (for easy soldering). You don't really need the PCB, you can wire it to any 4PDT on/on switch.

Sourcing the switch isn't too bad- just find one you like (amazon/ebay/mouser/digikey/electronics store/etc.) - lots out there. But working out where to connect everything is the issue.

I have one here I pulled when I rewired my 25th, so if you're dead set on doing it I could work out which wire goes to which switch lug. I've wired it up a few different ways over the years.

Yes, If you get a chance I would use the info to wire it up that way. I would at the end of the project, post the results and make the info available to anyone else looking to do the same on an AL or another non active HH EBMM. I do all my own Amp work and soldering, so I know i can do this. Its just that i do not understand the switch for wiring it up correctly the first time

Thanks and no hurry on this as it sounds like it could take a while and your offer is much appreciated !

now i'm thinking that this might be the same PCB as the 25th with a 3 way on/off/on switch and not the on/on switch on the 25th

That's a different board and, as you've noted, the switch is different too. It's also missing solder points for the wires that connect to the lever switch.
