Hello everyone,

I´m thinking about getting a vintage Music Man-combo, but I´m not sure which one off all the different models can be used for bass-guitar (I play a 1977 Stingray). As far as I know the 210-HD and 212-HD amps could also be used by bassplayers. Does anyone know if I could also use a smaller 110 or 112 RP or RD-model?

Thank You for any information!

I had an HD for a while, until I just plain gave up on
it, tone-wise. It's a fully tube power section, but the
pre is a hokey solid state affair thaz easily [way too
easily] pushed to a dreadful SS overdrive, sounding
similar to attempting to play bass thru a geetar amp.

Perhaps it was meant for slapping ? I wouldn't know
that, but it sux for fingerstyle, with or without frets.

OTOH it might be a very desirable geetar amp, once
again something I just wouldn't know about.
