Just wondering who has ordered a Music Man 30th Anniversary Axis and what timelines you have been given to when they will start to get delivered. Also what colors you guys have ordered as well, got myself a purple one ordered! Cheers :)
 
Called MusicMan right after the NAMM release and they said April. Called today after seeing this post about putting in a pre order. Now they're saying they're all sold out? I knew that these would be hot... but I'm surprised they didn't mention anything about doing a pre order before. Would hate to miss the boat....
 
Dealers did not order just for people who preordered, they ordered for stock. You gotta just get one from a dealer who stocks it. I'm sure Guitar Center will have some. I'm sure @PeteDuBaldo will have some at Dubaldo Music Center. They might also put a few in the Vault.
 
I checked with customer service and was told they will be up for sale in the vault on the release date "next week". Not sure what that means as far as the actual date, but there will be some for sale direct.
 
NGD post after I receive it and play it - that is if I can stop playing it long enough to post about it lol. I think I did alright..... :cool:. To say I'm excited would be understatement for sure.

I had pre-ordered 3 back on Feb 20th after Vegas at GC Ft Worth. They didn't know anything about them and Brent got a hold of Sterling and we were able to get the info needed to pre-order.
He said they were increasing the numbers produced of each over the amount announced in Vegas due to the demand & orders they got at the show and that shipping was expected in July, maybe a little before.

PS:
I'm looking for the Green and Red 2013 Axis Sparkles along with the 1997 Trans Green.
Somebody help me.
 
As usual the UK prices are eye watering

  • Lovely 30th Gold is £4,179 / $5,640 at Peaches
For perspective, I was lucky and got a super clean unfaded Purple '95 EVH for £5k recently.

 
I placed an order for one on Tuesday, April 21 directly on the EBMM website. Didn't realize you could buy direct! They charged my credit card on 4/22. When I submitted, I think they said build time is within four months. Going to assume that I'm getting one. I saw previous comments about EBMM saying they were sold out already so now I'm scratching my head. I'll assume it's coming until I hear from them otherwise.

Yes if you ordered through the Vault you will be getting one, most likely much sooner than 4 months

That’s what I was told from the guy from Sweetwater.
