Greetings all!
I'm not a Bass player by choice but i will tell you all that a good bass player sure does make my guitar sound great. And since this is my first post i would like to give a quick shout out to all and extend my thanks for allowing me to offer a contribution to your forum. Now with that being said i do have a question for all of the music man Bass experts! A good friend of mine that i work with told me that he purchased a music man stingray in a 4 string model but it was a neck through. And all i've ever seen was either a 5 or 6 bolt on models. Did they ever do a neck through at any time.If so would that add a value to the collectability. Or is this guy full of manure!!! Please feel free to fire back some e-mails all (facts) no:rolleyes: theroies or rumors please.
Regards!

I'd sure like to see a photo of what he's talking about.

But it didn't come from the Music Man factory.

This we know.

Welcome!

Just my 2 cents : I used to own some neck-thru basses but never found this concept brought that much. Except the fact that when your bass falls down and the neck breaks, you have the whole bass to replace instead of just the neck.

I'm going to assume you mis-understood him there. He probably said or maby meant to sat it was a string-through?
