Good morning everyone, my name is Hector, and I’m from Brazil.
Two days ago, I took my Music Man Bongo BFR out of the hard case. When I grabbed the bass, the case lid came down and briefly caught the volume potentiometer, bending the shaft. When I turned it to adjust the volume, it broke in my hand. I was really upset because it’s a hard-to-find bass, and it cost me a lot to bring it to Brazil. Does anyone know which volume potentiometer it uses? What are the specifications? Is there a replacement model available? I have friends living in the USA who could receive the potentiometer for me and then send it to Brazil.
Does anyone know how I should proceed to get this repair done? I’ve contacted Music Man, but I haven’t received a response yet.
