BMAC , awesome news about the new EVH music man guitar , Amber is my favorite color alongside Pink ..

But have you tried the new Fender EVH Wolfgang ?
By far the best out of all the wolfgang guitars ! now I really love my EBMM EVH but the neck on these guitars are really small ..

I wish music man would make the necks wider , you know ??:D

Dude! Seriously? I mean, you're really gonna post that here? C'mon. As you're new here, you may not know this, but it's not the place to praise other manufacturers stuff.

I've personally owned vintage strathead Charvels and Axis guitars. I have also played Peavey Wolfgangs, HP Specials numerous times. Haven't played the Fender Wolfgang but it is WAY overpriced.

The Axis is top dog. I have never seen in person/played an EVH but the only main difference to me would be in the upper registers of the neck.

The real make or break for me is the NECK on the Axis, it's completely unlike the Charvels or the Peaveys. The fact that it is a digital repro of one of Eddies old frankie necks (can't remember which one) adds significant mojo. The round yet narrow nature is unlike any other neck I've ever played before or since and it's in my top 2 favorite necks ever. The Peavey and Charvel necks are more traditionally wide and flat. Still comfortable, just not the same.
