Hey guys I thought it may be fun to start a thread where anyone is welcome to share a video or audio clip demonstrating how your guitars influence your playing. The quality of the video or the playing doesn't have to be anything special. This is just for fun!
I will start. My JPs definitely allowed me to improve the quality of my technique and tend to reinforce that mindset. My Als always seem to stimulate a creative, sort of indie kind of vibe. These videos were shot for my own practice and reference but I thought I'd share even though the quality is sketch.

Petrucci guitar example (playing begins around :30)

Albert Lee guitar example:

Please share your videos and impressions of your guitars!

Man I don't remember! Ha. At the time, I was playing an Orange Thunderverb 200. I believe I was going the MM90 Al to a Fulltone OCD into an Empress Tremelo and a Carbon Copy delay and Strymon Blue Sky in the effects loop.

I just have to contribute to this thread because I think you'll find some of my results hilarious.

Luke III: https://soundcloud.com/edward-bernard/the-spartan

Petrucci 7-string & Baritone: https://soundcloud.com/edward-bernard/the-wet-dark-wolf

CRS JPX-6: https://soundcloud.com/edward-bernard/the-pharoah

JP6 BFR: https://soundcloud.com/edward-bernard/the-creation

I think its ironic that my Luke III was the guitar that made me play the most brutal song I've ever recorded.

EDIT: Don't pay too much attention to the horror of the mixes for "The Pharoah" and "The Creation"

Nice! I like 'the spartan' and 'the creation' the best. It's pretty obvious to me that the Luke III is probably the brightest sounding of this group aside from the JP6 BFR. Probably why you went so hard on 'the spartan'

Was the Luke III that you were playing the maple neck version? I could be wrong but gauged on brightness that would have been my guess.
